Good Morning!

The rain is a welcome sight, this morning - except that I had planned on running (and I don't like running in the rain). There's something about sharp greens and purples against a grey-blue sky and the sound of car tires gliding on the soaked streets that reminds me, yet again, that it's spring.

I woke up to the sound, this morning, of my neighbor hammering something into the wall in what I am guess is his bathroom as it is right next to mine. He proceeded to hammer for about 15 minutes, which I think might have set a world record of some sorts. And then I got on to update myself on what has taken place in the world since I laid my head on the pillow, and sure enough - the most fascinating and innovative invention in the world was released. Uh... right. I guess it's useful for some people, but a "Frat Line" of products? How ridiculous can you get? I mean, really, the next thing you know they'll have flip-flops that double as sex-toys or something.

Anyways, I'm looking forward to see how today unfolds. My final paper for my weekend class is due at 4:30pm, today, and I have about half of it done (this is more progress than I was at this point for the previous two papers of the semester). I'll get it done happily and wash my hands of that class for the semester and for the rest of my Graduate career (it really was a great class, I don't mean to make it sound negative - it's just class, you know?) Also, today Cliff has his second interview for a position with Dave Ramsey, so major prayers need to be going out for that, because we're both really excited about the opportunity. We'll see though, it's been a journey of really great open doors and then God's gentle closing of them at just the point necessary before too much hope is invested in the possibility. It's been intersting to lend support for Cliff in all of this and think forward to a year and wonder what the job search is going to look like for me.

Welp, that's all for now.
Have a great day, folks!

No freakin way about Dave Ramsey! I think one of my friends husband works there. I hope that works out!

And anyway, who the heck wants to drink, or pour anything you intend to drink, out of your SHOE?

GROSS!

And, here's hoping about the position with DR. That'd be way cool.

Hope things went well yesterday for Cliff. This is an awesome place to work! God bless you and Cliff as you look for God's direction towards work that matters - regardless of where that may be.
