My Parents Gave Me Good Teeth

Until June of last year, I was still visiting my childhood dentist Dr. Brenda Nivera in Gaithersburg, MD. The only other person who ever took close look at my teeth was the oral surgeon, Dr. Harry Mack of Nashville Oral Surgery, who removed my wisdom teeth almost exactly two years ago to the date. As of last summer, though, Cliff and I frequent (if you can call every six months that) Harpeth Family Dentistry here in Franklin, TN where we see Dr. John Fogaros. Thanks again, Brooke and Chad, for the recommendation!

Anyways, enough of the selling.

I really enjoy going to the dentist, probably because in my whole life I've never had braces, was unfortunate enough to rack up one cavity (when I was 9?), and besides that, only had to have my wisdom teeth out. Big whoop. On the horizon, there may be a filling replacement (because, of course when I got mine they were made of amalgam and now you can get composite ones). And to no credit of my own (except for regular brushing and when-I-remember-to flossing), I get compliments from dentists more than I get scolded for any lack of hygiene.

So, I guess the accolades should go to my parents.

Thanks, Mom and Dad, for teeth that, according to all of the three people who've looked closely at my teeth, are within the top 99% of teeth they've ever seen.
