Two Saturdays over the last month and a half, he'd offered up his time to the Executive Vice President of his department by putting up and taking down his Christmas lights. Evidence here. Out of that was birthed a seasonal business he wants to begin operation on this coming fall.
And today? He's driving down to Atlanta with his Team Leader Darrell in a 16-foot truck to pick up some furniture, make a pit-stop on the way back to pick up some more, and then coming back to help him and his wife Dianne continue furnishing their wonderful new house!
I love that in his consideration for others, the "would it be okay if I risked my life to climb a roof?" and "would you mind me being gone all day Saturday?" conversations do take place and let me be included, some way, in that consideration.
Now what to do with a Saturday to myself?

Agreed, many thanks to Cliff as well as you Kristine for all the help you guys provided on Saturday. It was truly a fun time, or as fun as moving furniture can be.
