Also

Because no one is here to share the uniqueness of this experience, I am sharing it here. You see, I am standing on the porch typing this. I usually spend time online out here because it keeps me from staying on too long when I look up and their is nature and not just development in my view. Sometimes, I get dive-bombed by a wasp that lives in the shutter above the porch but he usually goes away after awhile.

Anyways, I've been out here for awhile now surfing the internet and posting. I kept hearing commotion down the street in the form of kids yelling, but tuned it out thinking it was just everyday kid-play noise. At one point, it occured to me they kept yelling the word "soda" at the top of their lungs. When I finally looked in their direction, it all made sense.

There's a group of five boys, probably ages 7-10 sitting on the corner selling soda. Everytime a car drives by, they yell a number of phrases which have included:

"SODA!"
"SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOODAAAAAAAAAA!"
"PLEASE BUY OUR SODA!"
"PLEASE GIVE US MONEY!"
"SODA, SODA, SODA!"
"SODA FOR SALE!"
"BUY SOME SODA!"
"STOP THE CAR!"
"PLEEEASE - SODAAAAAAA!"
"YOU KNOW YOU WANT SOME!"

It's quite amusing, really. I'm tempted almost to begin walking in their direction just to see what they'll say. Ah, kids are brilliant and so entertaining most times. I love it.

key words "most times"...I am only saying that because at the moment your brother is trying to be "entertaining" but somehow he's just hitting all the wrong nerves tonight!
