Contentment

I think it's sometimes to easy to forget how easy it can be just to slow down. I like when things in life force you to do so. I like when life takes up less of your time than you thought it did and leaves you with room to spare.

Cearra arrives in about four hours, and then we'll be off to Cool Springs to pick up Cliff, take him to get his hair cut, and then be off on our way to Cleveland. I think it might be a bit of a Twilight Zone moment, maybe, when my two extended worlds collide. Cliff's so excited to introduce Cearra, let alone a member of my family, to the place he's from - and I'm pretty sure I am too. Because despite the craziness that comes from being in a (growing) smalltown in East Tennessee, I have a fondness and an affinity for it that most people who aren't from there don't have.

I have packed three more boxes today, and it seems there's still so much left.

I'm just ready to get this all behind me (in a good way), and settle into a new home where instead of packing up boxes, we're finding places for things that were once "mine" but now "our's" and putting up ye old wedding portfolio. But again, I'll take this time for what it's worth and settle, at least, for being content with it all.

A weekend at the lake will be nice and there's reason to celebrate; it's the last unmarried trip to Cleveland!

p.s. My bridal portrait photos are amazing. I know no other way to describe them.

Hi Kristine and Cearra
Wishing you both a wonderful visit. Enjoy, relax, laugh, eat, sleep in, stay up late, be in nature, dance, shop ... just have fun being sisters, being together and celebrating C's birthday!

I think you feel about Cleveland like I feel about Cedartown (Where John's from..). I really really loved Panera..we seriously have to do it again NOT in 8 months!
