I mean, blogging about it - not going - because obviously we just did that. It's just that with over 1500 pictures to get through and very little time to do it, it's gonna take some time. I might (MIGHT) get around to uploading them by the end of the week.
But in other news, I need to tell you about these.
And how scrumptious and easy they are to make. I'm not even kidding. Ever since we returned and I came across p-dub's post about these in my backlogged Google Reader feed I've been fantasizing about them. I mean, not in that way. Just in the sort of way where raspberry, buttery goodness dances around in your head and clouds your view of everything.
So last night I put together a full batch of twenty-four, creating an assortment of fresh raspberry, blueberry, and cherry cobblers. Note, halving and pitting the cherries took the most amount of time (besides baking) of anything in this process (and oh, was it worth it). I divvied them up between the guys heading off to the Butcher's for men's group and the ladies hanging out at my place for women's group.
We've got four raspberry gems sitting at home on the counter and it took everything in my power to keep from eating them for breakfast this morning. Oh boy. Try 'em and you won't be disappointed. Promise.
