Taking Normal For Granted

I admit it. I'm guilty.

And the guilt never rang so true as when I found myself skirting around on my just-mopped kitchen floor and realized I was absolutely and completely (and rather deliriously) happy. Maybe it was the Mr. Clean fumes or the hypnotizing hum of the washer and dryer, but I was utterly content with this morning of normalcy. Sleeping in, spending time with Cliff, eating Cheerios, and finally being the one to get some house(work?)fun done while the other goes out to play.

Cliff's out mountain-biking with Brandon on this beautiful day while I get myself and this 814 square-foot apartment ready before I head out for another shoot with Gray Photography for the late afternoon. Should be a fun and warm day out at Cheekwood (twice in one weekend! I've got a family shoot tomorrow...) and it would only be that much sweeter had my lens actually made it in yesterday. Seems our clubhouse staff were out for lunch when UPS came by to drop off the package. Bummer.

Hope everyone's enjoying this glorious Saturday!

Sounds like my day! I got up, ate cheerios and mopped the kithen with Mr. Clean - which smells oh so good while the dishwasher and washer and dryer were running :) Hope you had a great day!
