We just finished up our afternoon retreat planning session, and I am closing down my computer. I open up my Gmail inbox for one last check for the day and here's what I find...

Now this may seem completely random. And at first, my brain didn't compute AT ALL what he meant by this e-mail. Then it hit me, and it warmed my heart and made me laugh and was just so darn cute all at one time.

It's less about the bugs in the guys brain or the emoticons than it is about the fact that my darling husband not only manages to watch my favorite shows with me, but that he also likes them enough to catch up on episodes I've seen already while I'm busy (like last night and this afternoon). What a win-win situation...
I guess my affinity for watching war movies with him has paid off in the long run!
