I go and get sick.
I managed to make it through a meeting with one of our Vice President's this morning, but was smart enough to cancel all my other meetings for the day. I can hardly stand it. I'm more frustrated about the repeating nature of my stress-induced throat issues than I am about actually being sick. What is it with me getting a sore throat, having sinus pressure overload, and losing my voice every time the stress level gets anywhere close to higher than normal?
In the last couple of years, I can remember this same thing happening at the following times:
- when I was preparing my Senior Writing Portfolio before graduating from high school
- graduating from high school (and going on vacation, bummer)
- right before my interview for an assistantship at Vandy
- when I graduated from Belmont
- the week before our wedding
- when I was getting ready to graduate from Vandy
- right after I finished the interview process for my job
- during Spring Orientation (which, mind you, was only two and a half weeks ago)
- and now, just after I finish the first stage of my budget proposal process
What's the deal?

I hope you feel better. I am actually home today sick as well. I went into work and then left after being their one hour.
Feel better soon! Maybe take a nice hot bubbly bath to help cope with the stess.
Oh I'm sorry! I hope you feel better soon!
