Well, What Do You Know

I survived my first day at work! I didn't expect that an eight-hour day would go by so quickly, but Cliff had been telling me all along that it would. Somehow more time lends itself to more work, and before you know it you look up at the clock and everyone's closing their office doors and heading down the hallway.

Now I know how some of you 40-hour-a-weekers feel.

To celebrate my first day, Cliff came home with a movie and a small bunch of orange gerber daisies, not only because he knows how much I love them (enough to stick them in my bridesmaids' bouquets) but because they're my favorite flowers to photograph. Unfortunately, getting out of work as the last light of the day is fading away doesn't lend itself to prime picture taking and I ran out of time this morning, but I'll attempt to do some maybe in the morning tomorrow.

Speaking of photos, I carved out a sliver of time last night, after the movie, to go through the images from the Thanksgiving photoshoot with the Bentons and those kids are so dang cute. I posted about it over here (including a sneak peak!)

Of course you survived! You're going to do wonderful things at Belmont - They definitely picked the right person:).

P.S. When does the Nacho's thingy expire again? I think we might need to plan a night out:).

Hey, I haven't told you yet...CONGRATS on your new job! Cliff told me a little about it last week, and I'm so happy for you. You are definitely the perfect person to put in that position. :)
