In an unexpected turn of events, my lunch with Molly yesterday sent me home early with overwhelming waves of nausea and stomach pains. I got home, turned on the Christmas tree, and fell asleep on our couch, only to wake up and spend far too much time in the bathroom. Unlike the bout I got about two months ago, this one graced the upper regions of my body. And I'll leave it at that. I stood in the shower for about a half hour before throwing on my pajamas and getting back on the couch... which I didn't leave once except to get up and go to bed.
Poor Cliff. He was incredibly supportive and comforting, and he even went so far as to watch "Private Practice" with me!
Going to work because I haven't accrued a sick day yet. Which let me tell you... is not fun. I'd give just about anything to stay home today wrapped up in five blankets, nursing a big glass of Gatorade, and praying that the thought of food or the faint smell of it would no longer haunt me. But unfortunately, it does. Add to that my body being riddled with achiness and chills...
man this stuff isn't fun!

honey, I'm so sorry you are sick again, but I am very thankful Cliff is there to care for you.
Ummm, Kristine, perhaps you should rethink the places you are eating!!
Seriously, hope you are feeling well again soon.
