Halloween Plans

I wish we were doing this again, tonight:

But, alas, we are not.

Tonight, Cliff, after a day of working hard setting up for tomorrow's event, is taking two of his ELPs, who are from the area and attending the event, out for dinner at Henry's 12th Street Tavern in Portland. So that should be fun! It's always really exciting for him, after putting in a lot of phone-time with his ELPs, to actually get to meet them and spend some quality face-time with them. It's amazing how much of his job is about relationships and yet it's sometimes years before an ELP meets his or her ELP Advisor. I think Cliff's liking Portland pretty well so far, though it is (surprise) a bit rainy and gray. Last night, Cliff said the team went out for dinner at Portland's oldest restaurant and he enjoyed an early morning of Doubletree hotel lobby breakfast and some quiet time on his balcony overlooking Holladay Park before heading off for set-up.

I, on the other hand, will be helping with check-in at Parent and Family Weekend at Belmont tonight, before retiring home to prepare our budget for November, maybe watch a fun movie, and then try to hit the hay fairly early because tomorrow will be a looooong day. 7:30AM check-in for Parent and Family Weekend through 10PM departure of the bride and groom at the wedding I am assisting Gray Photography with tomorrow. But it'll be great!

Anyways, Happy Halloween boys and ghouls!
