I made my first true-to-life latte (no, not the one pictured) at home just a little bit ago. Unfortunately sitting outside whilst surfing the net has caused the last few drops to go cold, but I actually did it! I had made espresso with our duo espresso/coffee machine before, but hadn't gotten around to steaming milk yet. Sara taught me how to... oh... months ago, and I finally got around to trying (thanks Sara!). No disastrous milk splatters, either! I'll admit, it wasn't perfect (my milk wasn't completely hot), but it was a great first try.
Gosh, it's nice to have time on my hands...
(Except now I'm going to be up all night!)
