What's New!

Anything and everything, seriously.

You may have noticed a change to the blog - we're gonna tag team (well, at least Cliff may contribute occasionally) and make this kind of a way to keep up to date on what's going on in the life of this newlywed couple as well as letting Kristine (it's weird to talk about myself in third person) contribute some of her occasional (and far too infrequent these days) thought-provoking reflections on life.

Some highlights, these days:
  • Kristine finished a successful round of DoreWays and DoreSteps at Vandy
  • Kristine started classes and we've managed to keep our marriage afloat (and more than just afloat) after being thrown into the crazy current of working, finishing up grad school, and living from day to day
  • We started Financial Peace University, which has been awesome so far
  • Cliff sold nine territories at Lampo in August, which is pretty sweet and is loving his job (and Kristine loves that he -loves- that he loves his job and is doing so well at it... no really)
  • Kristine got her first flat tire which she changed (almost) by herself
  • Subsequently, we ended up buying two new tires!
  • Football season has started and we got "bunny ears" so we can enjoy an occasional game (which is so, so nice - we looooooove football)

That's all I can think of, for now.

We're navigating pretty well these days, getting more in synch and figuring out the best way to live together, to keep up with our families, to stay in touch with our friends and make new ones. We still have a little "settling" to do in our new home which basically means I need to finally pot the herbs that we bought nearly a month ago and we've got to start hanging stuff on the walls. Pretty soon we'll be all set!

Now if only we could get our wedding pictures picked out and the thank you notes started (haha). But really, we're starting on those tomorrow night, which should be good - we'll get them kicked out pretty soon I'm sure.

Over and out.

-Kristine

p.s. this one was for you, Smudd! :)
